What should I include in a transfer question?
The domain name, your account number and what My domains shows for it (status and reason). Never include the auth code: if it was wrong, enter a new one in the form under the domain. For DNS questions, say which nameservers the domain uses today.
What can support do during a transfer?
Support can read the status of each transfer request, explain the reason a registry or the old registrar gave for a refusal, and tell you what to fix before you send a new code. For a .uk domain, support handles the IPS tag change with you, because the transfer form does not take .uk names. For a portfolio, write before you start: we can help you order the requests by expiry date and check which names need Domain protection. Support cannot speed up the old registrar: under ICANN rules it has up to 5 days to answer.
How do authorities and lawyers contact you?
By email to [email protected] with the subject "Legal request". DomaineGoat LLC releases the data it holds only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. Our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record, keeps its own abuse contact. Read the disclosure policy first.
