Quick answer

What do the TransferOffshore terms say, in short?

These terms, in force as of 19 October 2026, govern your use of TransferOffshore, operated by DomaineGoat LLC, a company in Panama. You pay in crypto from a prepaid balance, keep one verified email per domain, follow the acceptable use policy, and can transfer out with a free code. Panamanian law applies.

1. Who we are

TransferOffshore is the domain transfer service of DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record, which keeps its own legal duties and abuse contact. Our Panamanian rules govern what DomaineGoat LLC does with your account, the data it holds and the complaints sent to it. In these terms, "we" means DomaineGoat LLC and "you" means the account holder. Contact: [email protected].

2. The service

We transfer domains in from other registrars, register new domains, renew them and provide DNS tools, WHOIS and RDAP privacy and the Domain protection option. We sell only the extensions shown on the price list. Each registry also applies its own rules, which form part of the contract for its extension.

3. Your account

Your account is identified by an account number. Keep your access details safe: anyone who has them can manage your domains. We never ask for your password, your account number or your transfer codes by email or chat.

We do not ask for a name, an ID document, a phone number or a postal address. Each domain needs one email address that you control: it is required, and it is the only contact detail we collect. You are the registrant of record of a domain in your name. ICANN rules require us to verify it: if it is not confirmed within 15 days, the domain is suspended until it is. You must keep it working and up to date.

4. Transfers in

You may transfer a domain only if you hold it or are authorised by its holder. You provide the auth code given by the current registrar. A request may contain up to 20 domains. By default, the domain keeps its current nameservers.

A transfer depends on the current registrar and the registry. The current registrar has up to 5 days to answer for most gTLDs. The transfer price is billed once per domain. On gTLDs, a completed transfer adds one year to the expiry date, up to 10 years in total. For country extensions, the registry decides: some, such as .uk and .ch, keep the expiry date and add no time. We cannot complete a transfer that the current registrar or the registry refuses.

5. Prices, balance and payment

Prices are per extension and per year, in US dollars, as shown on the price list on the day you pay. We accept crypto only: BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. You pay from a prepaid balance with a minimum top-up of $25.

Send the exact amount shown, on the network shown, then click "I've sent the payment". The payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network confirms it. A payment sent on another network, or for another amount, may not be matched.

Balance rule: Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, and it pays for new domains, renewals and transfers. When a purchase costs less than the minimum top-up, the part added only to reach the minimum is refundable on request to support within 30 days of the payment, in USDT or USDC, as long as it has not been spent. The rest of the balance is not paid back, except where the law requires it.

6. Failed transfers

A transfer can fail, for example because of a wrong code, a lock at the current registrar, or a domain under 60 days old. The reason is shown in My domains, and you can enter a new code. Sending a corrected code needs no new payment. If you do not try again, contact support about the amount paid for that transfer.

7. Renewals and expiry

Auto-renew is on by default for new and transferred domains. It renews each domain from your balance at the renewal price of its extension. You can turn it off for any domain in My domains.

If your balance is too low, or auto-renew is off, the domain is not renewed. After expiry, it enters the grace and redemption periods set by the registry. A domain in redemption must be restored before it can be renewed or transferred. Contact support for a restore. You are responsible for renewing on time.

8. Domain protection

Domain protection is an option at +$29/year per domain, on top of the extension price. With it:

  1. the domain is registered in the name of DomaineGoat LLC, and the registry and WHOIS show the company, not you;
  2. the transfer lock is on by default, and any transfer or DNS change must be confirmed from your account;
  3. your data is kept to a minimum: DomaineGoat LLC holds only your email;
  4. every complaint is read by a person before any action on the domain, and you are told when the law allows. This review exists only with Domain protection; the abuse deadlines stay the same.

You remain the beneficial owner and keep full control of the domain. You can take it back in your name at any time, for free, with nothing refunded. For extensions sold only with Domain protection, this goes through support. When a domain is transferred in with Domain protection, the time already paid at the old registrar is charged pro rata once the transfer completes. The same abuse and acceptable use policies apply to these domains.

9. Transfers out

You may transfer a domain to another registrar at any time, subject to ICANN and registry rules. The transfer code is free, from your account, at any time. There is no exit fee.

A transfer can be refused within 60 days of a registration or a transfer in, while a domain is in its redemption period, or where ICANN rules oblige any registrar to refuse it, such as a pending UDRP or a court order.

10. Your obligations

You must:

  • give an email address you control for each domain, and verify it;
  • use domains in line with the acceptable use policy and the law;
  • not register or use a domain in breach of the rights of others;
  • keep your account access details safe.

11. Abuse, disputes and suspension

We take no action on a complaint alone. Copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision that binds us, from a Panamanian court; foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama.

Phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims lead to action within 24 hours of a documented report, and child sexual abuse material is handled at once, as set out in the abuse policy. Trademark disputes go through the UDRP: the domain is locked within 2 business days and the panel decision is applied. We may also suspend a domain when a registry, ICANN or a Panamanian court requires it.

A suspended domain stays yours to transfer out, unless the rules that led to the suspension forbid it.

12. Your data

DomaineGoat LLC releases the data it holds only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. Details are in the disclosure policy and the privacy policy.

13. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not liable for the acts of registries, other registrars, blockchain networks or DNS providers, nor for losses caused by a lost email, lost access details or a payment sent on the wrong network. Where the law allows a limit, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law forbids it.

14. Your rights as a registrant

ICANN publishes the rights and duties of every registrant of a gTLD in its Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities. You confirm that you have read them when you place an order. They are part of these terms: Registrants' Benefits and Responsibilities.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Panama. Disputes go to the courts of Panama, unless a mandatory rule of law says otherwise.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The new version is published on this page with its date. It applies to orders placed after that date. Prices already paid do not change.
