Transfer your domains offshore, without DNS downtime

Bring one domain or a whole portfolio with its auth codes. Your nameservers move with it, so the website and email keep working. No action on a complaint alone, and the data we hold goes out only when Panamanian law requires it, or in a UDRP case.

Quick answer

How do I transfer a domain to an offshore registrar?

Unlock the domain at your current registrar, copy its auth (EPP) code, and enter both in TransferOffshore, the Panama-based transfer service of DomaineGoat LLC. As of October 2026, a .com transfer costs $12.49, billed once, and adds one year. Nameservers stay as they are; the old registrar has up to 5 days to release it. No ID: one verified email, paid in crypto.

A transfer in four moves

The domain changes registrar. Its DNS, website and email stay where they are.

  1. Unlock at the old registrar

Turn off the transfer lock. Many registrars refuse a transfer in the first 60 days after a registration or a previous move.

  2. Copy the auth code

The auth code (EPP code) proves you hold the domain. Paste it next to the name; add up to 20 rows per request.

  3. Pay in crypto

Top up with BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC. The transfer price is taken from your balance once it is credited.

  4. The domain arrives

The old registrar has up to 5 days to answer. Nameservers are kept, and one year is added on .com, .net and .org.

Transfer costs the same as a renewal

One price per extension: transfer, renewal and first year are equal, with WHOIS privacy included where the registry allows it.

Due process, written down

The policy of DomaineGoat LLC, the same for every domain we hold. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record, which keeps its own legal duties and abuse contact.

  • No action on a complaint alone

Copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision that binds us, from a Panamanian court. Abuse policy.

  • Data out only when Panamanian law requires it

A Panamanian court or prosecutor's order, or a UDRP case. Nothing else. Disclosure policy.

  • No ID, no KYC

One email per domain, required and verified, never published: the only contact detail we collect. Transfer without KYC.

  • Strict exceptions, in the open

Phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims: action within 24 hours of a documented report. Child abuse material: at once.

Transfer questions people ask first

Will my website or email stop during the transfer?

No, as long as you keep the same nameservers. A transfer changes the registrar, not the DNS: TransferOffshore keeps your current nameservers by default. The one exception is DNS hosted by the old registrar, which can stop when the domain leaves: copy those records first. Read transfer without DNS downtime.

How long does a domain transfer take?

Up to 5 days for .com, .net, .org and most gTLDs: the old registrar has 5 days to answer, and the transfer completes on its own if it does not refuse. Some country extensions are faster or work without a code, such as .uk with its IPS tag. Times per extension: the transfer rules table.

Do I lose the time left on my domain?

No. On gTLDs such as .com the transfer adds one year to the current expiry date, up to the 10-year maximum, and the time already paid is kept. A few country registries, such as .uk and .ch, keep the expiry date without adding time. If the old registrar auto-renewed the domain in the last 45 days, the registry cancels that renewal and still adds one year; ask that registrar about a refund. Details in how transfers work.

Can I transfer many domains at once?

Yes: up to 20 domains per request, each with its own auth code, typed row by row or pasted as a list. Larger portfolios go in several requests. Order them by expiry date and send the ones expiring soonest first. See bulk domain transfer.

Do you need my ID or my real name?

No. TransferOffshore asks for no ID document, no selfie, no name, no address and no phone number. The one detail it needs is an email per domain, which ICANN requires to be verified within 15 days; it is kept private, and you are the registrant of record. Payment is in crypto only. With Domain protection the registry and WHOIS show DomaineGoat LLC, never you.
