Quick answer

What is TransferOffshore?

TransferOffshore is the domain transfer service of DomaineGoat LLC, a company incorporated in Panama: move one domain or a whole portfolio with its auth codes, keep your DNS running, and pay in crypto with no ID. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record. As of October 2026 a .com transfer costs $12.49 and adds one year.

Before you start

What do I need to transfer a domain?

Three things: the domain unlocked at its current registrar, its auth code (also called EPP code or transfer code), and an email you can verify. The domain must also be active and, at many registrars, at least 60 days old. Read how transfers work.

Where do I find the auth code?

In your current registrar's dashboard, usually next to the transfer lock, or in an email sent to the registrant address. ICANN rules require the registrar to give it within 5 calendar days of your request. The transfer-from guides show where 18 registrars put it.

Can I transfer a domain I registered last month?

Usually not yet. Under ICANN's Transfer Policy a registrar may refuse a transfer within 60 days of the registration or of a previous transfer, and many do. The ICANN Board adopted a 30-day period on 7 June 2026, but no effective date is published. See why a transfer fails.

Which extensions can I transfer to you?

The extensions on the price list, from .com, .net and .org to .io, .ai, .co, .me and many new gTLDs. Some, such as .de, .uk, .nl and .ch, are sold only with Domain protection. Country extensions that need a local presence (.us, .eu, .fr, .ca and others) are not sold here.

During the transfer

How long does a transfer take?

Up to 5 days for .com and other gTLDs: the old registrar has 5 calendar days to answer, then the registry approves the transfer by default. Several country registries, such as .de and .nl, complete transfers at once. The rules by extension list each one.

Will my website or email go down?

Not if your nameservers stay the same, and they do by default. The risk is DNS hosted by the old registrar itself: its records can stop working when the domain leaves. Copy them, or move DNS first. Read transfer without DNS downtime.

Can I speed up a transfer?

Often yes: many registrars let you approve the outgoing transfer in their dashboard instead of waiting 5 days. GoDaddy, Porkbun and Cloudflare offer such a button, according to their help pages. Your registrar's guide on transfer from says where it is.

What happens if the transfer fails?

My domains shows the reason, such as a wrong code, a lock or a domain under 60 days old, and lets you enter a new code. Sending a corrected code needs no new payment. Common fixes are in why a transfer fails.

Can I transfer 100 domains at once?

Yes, in five requests of up to 20 domains each. Each row needs its own auth code, and you can paste a list instead of typing rows. Send the domains that expire first in the first request. See bulk domain transfer.

Price and payment

How much does a transfer cost?

The renewal price of the extension, billed once per domain: $12.49 for a .com, $12.99 for a .net, $53.49 for a .io, with WHOIS privacy free. On gTLDs the transfer adds one year to the expiry date; .uk and .ch keep their expiry date. All prices: pricing.

Do I lose the time already paid at my old registrar?

No. On gTLDs the year you buy is added to the current expiry date, up to the 10-year maximum; country registries such as .uk keep the date as it is. If the old registrar auto-renewed the domain in the last 45 days, the registry cancels that renewal and still adds one year; a refund of what you paid for it is up to that registrar.

Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), USD Coin (USDC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC). You top up a balance with at least $25, send the exact amount shown on the exact network and click "I've sent the payment"; the payment is matched by its exact amount and credited once the network confirms it. Monero is not accepted. See pay with crypto.

Is there a fee to leave?

No. The auth code is free, from your account, at any time, and no exit fee applies. ICANN rules allow the usual 60-day refusal after a domain arrives, as at any registrar. Read transfer out.

Privacy and identity

Do you ask for ID or KYC?

No ID document, no selfie, no ID number, no name, no address and no phone number. You give one email per domain, which ICANN requires to be verified within 15 days; it is the only contact detail we collect, and it is never published. Read transfer without KYC.

Who will see my name after the transfer?

We never ask for your name, so we cannot pass it on. You are the registrant of record, and the record is built from your verified email. Public WHOIS/RDAP shows our privacy contact where the extension allows it, and what stays public depends on each registry. The .com and .net registries receive no contact data at all. With Domain protection the registry receives the details of DomaineGoat LLC instead.

What is Domain protection?

An option at $29 a year per domain: the domain is registered in the name of DomaineGoat LLC, the transfer lock stays on, the company holds only your email, and a person reads every complaint before any action, a review that exists only with the option. Details on Domain protection.

Can I still prove I own the domain?

Yes. For a domain in your name, you are the registrant of record. With Domain protection you are the beneficial owner under our terms, and you can have it put back in your name, free, at any time.

Complaints, courts and abuse

Will you suspend my domain if someone complains?

Not on a complaint alone. Copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision that binds us, from a Panamanian court; foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama. Phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims are acted on within 24 hours of a documented report, and child sexual abuse material at once. See the abuse policy.

Who can obtain my data?

DomaineGoat LLC releases the data it holds only when Panamanian law requires it (a Panamanian court or prosecutor's order), or in a UDRP case. We tell you before any disclosure, unless the law or the order forbids it. Read the disclosure policy.

What about trademark disputes?

They follow the UDRP, which ICANN imposes on every registrar. The domain is locked within 2 business days of the dispute provider's request, the dispute provider receives the registrant record on file, and the panel's decision is applied. A transfer is refused while a UDRP case is pending.

How do I report abuse?

Email [email protected] with the domain, the URLs and the evidence; no account is needed. You receive an automatic acknowledgement with a reference number. Phishing, malware, botnets and fraud are handled within 24 hours of a well-documented report. Details on the abuse policy.

About the company

Why a service in Panama?

Because DomaineGoat LLC answers to Panamanian law: content disputes need a Panamanian court decision, and the data it holds goes out only when Panamanian law requires it, or in a UDRP case, not on a form. Domains are registered through our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, which keeps its own legal duties; ICANN rules, the UDRP and each registry's own law still apply. Read why Panama.

How do I contact support?

By email at [email protected]. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week, including help with DNS, transfers and renewals. We never ask for your password or your auth codes by email. See contact.

Where can I read your facts in one place?

On the official facts page, in llms.txt and in pricing.json. They are generated from the same data as the site, with the date of the last update.
