The uses that are not allowed for any domain we hold, split in two groups: the ones we act on with a documented report, and the ones that need a court or a UDRP panel.

**Quick answer — What does the TransferOffshore acceptable use policy forbid?**

The **TransferOffshore** acceptable use policy, in force as of 19 October 2026, forbids 5 kinds of abuse that lead to suspension on a documented report: phishing, malware, botnets, child sexual abuse material, and fraud that takes money from victims. Other disputes, such as copyright, defamation or trademarks, need a Panamanian court decision or a UDRP decision.

## Who does this policy apply to?

It applies to every domain held through TransferOffshore, whether it is registered in your name or with [Domain protection](https://transferoffshore.com/domain-protection/). It covers the domain itself, its DNS, and anything the domain points to: websites, email, files and servers.

By ordering a transfer, a registration or a renewal, you accept this policy, the [terms of service](https://transferoffshore.com/terms/) and the [abuse policy](https://transferoffshore.com/abuse/).

## Group 1: which uses are suspended on a documented report?

A domain used for any of the following is suspended on a well-documented report, without a court order:

1. **Phishing**: pages or messages that imitate a service to collect passwords, codes, card or account details.
2. **Malware**: hosting or spreading malicious software, or running its command and control servers.
3. **Botnets**: controlling or coordinating networks of infected devices.
4. **Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)**: any content of this kind, which is also reported to NCMEC.
5. **Fraud that takes money from victims**, including:
   - fake shops that take payment and deliver nothing;
   - investment scams and crypto scams;
   - wallet drainers;
   - impersonation of a bank or a brand;
   - the sale of stolen data, such as card numbers, account logins or personal records.

How to report, and our target times, are in the [abuse policy](https://transferoffshore.com/abuse/).

## Group 2: which disputes need a court or a UDRP decision?

Every other dispute about a domain or its content needs a decision before we act. A complaint alone is not enough. This group includes:

- **copyright** claims, including DMCA notices;
- **defamation** and claims about reputation;
- **political** content and criticism;
- complaints from **competitors**;
- **trademark** disputes, which go to the UDRP: the panel decision is applied;
- other claims about the legality of content.

For these, we act on a decision that binds us: a decision of a Panamanian court, or a UDRP panel decision for trademarks. Foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama. This is not legal advice.

## What else must customers respect?

Customers must keep the email of each domain working and verified, as ICANN rules require. It is the only contact detail we collect. They must not use the service to get around a suspension, for example by moving the same abuse to a new domain on the same account. Accounts used for repeated Group 1 abuse may be closed.

## How do I report a breach of this policy?

Write to **abuse@transferoffshore.com**, with no account needed. Include the domain, the URLs, the type of abuse and your evidence. Every report gets an automatic acknowledgement with a reference number.
