How we handle complaints about domains we hold: what leads to suspension, what needs a Panamanian court decision, and how to send a report that can be acted on.

**Quick answer — What is the TransferOffshore abuse policy?**

As of October 2026, **TransferOffshore** takes no action on a complaint alone: copyright, defamation, political or competitor complaints need a decision that binds us. Phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims are the exceptions, acted on within 24 hours of a documented report sent to abuse@transferoffshore.com; child sexual abuse material is handled at once.

## What does a complaint alone lead to?

No action. A complaint about copyright, defamation or political content, or one sent by a competitor, does not by itself lead us to suspend a domain. Such disputes need a decision that binds us: a decision of a Panamanian court. Foreign judgments must first be recognised in Panama.

We register the complaint and may forward it to the customer. We take no action on unverified complaints.

## Which abuse leads to suspension?

A short list of harms leads to suspension on a well-documented report, with no court order needed:

- **phishing**;
- **malware** distribution and command servers;
- **botnets**;
- **child sexual abuse material (CSAM)**;
- **fraud that takes money from victims**: fake shops, investment and crypto scams, wallet drainers, impersonation of a bank or a brand, and the sale of stolen data.

Our target times: phishing, malware, botnets and fraud that takes money from victims, action within 24 hours of a well-documented report; CSAM immediately, and the URLs are reported to NCMEC; a UDRP lock within 2 business days of the dispute provider's request; an answer to any other report within 2 business days. Every report gets an automatic acknowledgement with a reference number.

Our ICANN-accredited registrar partner, shown in the RDAP record, keeps its own legal duties and its own abuse contact.

## How do I report abuse?

Write to **abuse@transferoffshore.com**. You do not need an account, and you do not need to identify yourself beyond a reply address. A well-documented report contains:

- the domain name and the full URLs concerned;
- the type of abuse, from the list above;
- evidence: screenshots with the date and time, email headers for phishing mail, malware hashes or samples, or the payment details a victim was asked for;
- when you saw it, with the time zone;
- for CSAM, the URL only: never send the material itself.

Reports without evidence are read, but they cannot lead to a suspension on their own.

## How are trademark disputes handled?

Through the UDRP, the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy, as ICANN requires of every registrar. A trademark holder files a complaint with an approved dispute provider, not with us. The domain is locked within 2 business days of the dispute provider's request, the provider receives the registrant record on file, and the panel decision is applied.

## What changes with Domain protection?

With [Domain protection](https://transferoffshore.com/domain-protection/), every complaint is read by a person before any action on the domain, and the customer is told about it when the law allows. That review exists only with the option. Without it, complaints follow this policy as written above. The deadlines do not change: phishing, malware, botnets and fraud within 24 hours of a documented report, child abuse material at once.

## What happens after a suspension?

We tell the customer which domain was suspended and why, unless the law forbids it. A customer who believes a suspension was a mistake can reply to that message with evidence, such as proof that a hacked site has been cleaned. A person reviews that evidence and replies with the outcome. The [acceptable use policy](https://transferoffshore.com/acceptable-use/) lists every prohibited use.
